External Stakeholder Lead - Making Tax Digital, HMRC
Govinder joined HMRC from DWP in 2020. Having worked as an External Stakeholder manager on the Universal Credit Programme, she brought her experience to HMRC and the Making Tax Digital Programme working on the Stakeholder and Change Management (SCM) team.
She leads on bringing the voice of the business customer into MTD, developing an understanding of their needs. She has a keen interest in the experience of those who require extra support in joining MTD and bringing the customer perspective into the development of services and processes.
Currently she has been working on developing MTD ITSA engagement and communication strategies to prepare and inform businesses in readiness of MTD mandation and the requirements needed to meet tax obligations.
