Karen has been an independent business owner for 16 years, she came across hospitality by chance. Prior to that she has mainly worked in administrative roles as well as some freelance bookkeeping. Her last position was working as a procurement manager for an engineering business.

She is very much a family person, with two grown up children and three grandchildren which is why she enjoys the hospitality business. A self-taught cook, Karen is passionate about food and makes a lot of the food served at Finkins Deli.
